Two hospitalised after separate crashes on Gold Coast

Two people have been taken to hospital after separate crashes on the Gold Coast overnight.

Emergency crews were called to Robina just after 8.00pm on Wednesday, following reports two cars had collided at the intersection of Christine Avenue and Scottsdale Drive.

A man was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries before being taken to Robina Hospital in a stable condition.

Just 3 hours later, a truck and car collided on the Gooding Drive off-ramp in Merrimac.

One person was treated for seatbelt injuries and taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
