Two hospitalised following separate accidents on Gold Coast

TWO people have been injured in two separate accidents on the Gold Coast overnight.

The first crash happened at Mermaid Waters just before 7.00pm.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Bermuda Street and Markeri Street after receiving reports two cars had collided.

One person was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries before being taken to Pindara Hospital in a stable condition.

Just two hours later, a man was injured in a single-vehicle crash at Ormeau.

It’s understood the accident happened on Kefferan Place just before 9:30pm.

The man was treated at the scene before being taken to Logan Hospital with spinal precautions.
