Two hospitalised following separate dog attacks in SE Qld

TWO people have been rushed to hospital following two separate dog attacks in South East Queensland overnight.

The first incident happened just before 7.30pm. Emergency services were called to Underwood after receiving reports a man had been bitten by a dog.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.


Just a few hours later, Queensland Ambulance crews were called to a home at Tamborine after a person was attacked by a dog around 10.15pm.

They were treated at the scene for bite injuries to their arm and legs before being taken to Beaudesert Hospital for further treatment.
