Two hospitalised following separate Gold Coast crashes

Two people have been hospitalised, following separate crashes on the Gold Coast overnight.

Emergency services were initially called to Surfers Paradise, following reports of a two car crash around 6.00pm.

It happened at the corner of Palm Avenue and Ferny Avenue.

A woman was assessed at the scene for back pain, before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

She’s believed to be in a stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

A little later, paramedics were called to Southport, after a motorcycle crashed into a pole.

It happened at Smith Street and George Street around 8.00pm.

A man in his 20s was treated for abrasions and limb injuries, and was taken in a stable condition to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
