Two hospitalised after cars collide in Southport

UPDATE @ 11.30 AM | TWO people have been hospitalised after three cars collided in Southport this morning.

The accident happened eastbound on North Street just before 10.00am.

A man in his 50s and a teenage girl were both treated at the scene by paramedics for head injuries.

They have since been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

EARLIER @ 10.30 AM | Emergency crews have rushed to multi-vehicle crash in Southport this morning.

Three cars collided eastbound on North Street just before 10.00am.

A man in his 50s and a teenage girl are being treated at the scene by paramedics.

They’re both believed to be in a stable condition.

Tow trucks have arrived on scene to remove the vehicles, however long delays are being experienced in the area with motorists urged to seek alternative routes.
