Two injured in separate Gold Coast crashes

TWO people have been hospitalised following two separate crashes on the Gold Coast.

The first accident happened in Surfers Paradise just before 5.30pm on Friday.

A woman was hit by a car at the intersection of Pine Avenue and Ferny Avenue, suffering head injuries.


She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Meanwhile, a motorist was also taken to the Uni hospital this morning after a car rollover in Burleigh Waters.

It happened on Bermuda Street at 5.20am, with the driver managing to escape with minor injuries.
