TWO people have been killed in a glider crash in Queensland’s Darling Downs this morning.
Queensland Ambulance confirmed multiple paramedics rushed to a ‘light aircraft incident’ off Mason Road, at Bowenville, just before 10.00am
Police say initial investigations suggests the glider was coming in to land when it crashed into a field approximately 30 metres from the runway.

The instructor, a 62-year-old Darling Downs man and his student, a 60-year-old Jubilee Pocket man, died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit remains on the scene and are currently assisting other agencies with the investigation.
