Two men airlifted to hospital following serious crash
Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash near Wollongong today which has resulted in serious injuries to the two drivers.
About 6.45am Friday 27 November 2015, police were called to Appin Road, Bulli Tops, after a Holden Rodeo and a Holden Commodore collided.
Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles before being released.
The 22-year-old man driving the Rodeo has been air-lifted to Liverpool Hospital with serious head injuries.
The 25-year-old man driving the Commodore was air-lifted to St George Hospital with serious lower limb injuries.
Both drivers are in a critical but stable condition.
Appin Road was closed whilse investigations took place, however it has since re-opened.
Police are investigating the crash and any witnesses are urged to come forward.
