Two men hospitalised following separate incidents in Surfers Paradise

Paramedics were kept busy in Surfers Paradise, with a couple of incidents reported overnight.

Emergency services were first called to Trickett Street and Surfers Paradise Boulevard just before 11.00pm.

There were reports a bike and a car had collided at the intersection there.

A man was assessed briefly at the scene for a knee injury, before he was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Later on, paramedics were called to Elkhorn Avenue, after reports a pedestrian was hit by a car.

It happened just after midnight, with a man suffering neck and back pain.

He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Earlier in the night, three people were hospitalised in serious but stable conditions after a two car crash in Burleigh Heads.
