Two men on the run after terrifying knife-point robbery

A couple of thieves are on the run in the southeast, after robbing a shop at knife-point in Brisbane’s south yesterday.

Police are now investigating, after reports a convenience store along Belmore Drive in Rochedale was robbed by two masked men around 2.15pm.

The pair stormed the business armed with a knife and a hammer, before jumping the counter.

They threatened the 21-year-old store employee and made demands for money from the till.

The pair then fled the store on push bikes, with cash and cigarettes.

Investigations are continuing.

No injuries were reported.
