Two men on the run after escaping from NSW prison

RESIDENTS are being urged to be on the lookout after two prisoners escaped from a correctional facility in the NSW Riverina area early this morning.

Just after 1.30am, police were called to Albury Street in Tumbarumba, after a stolen Ford Falcon ute truck crashed into a power pole.

Inside the ute, police located a green gaol-issued beanie.
