Two men wanted after stealing 4WD at gunpoint in Logan

Police are calling on public assistance to locate two men who stole a car at gunpoint in Beenleigh earlier this morning.

A man was sitting in the four-wheel-drive near a skate park on Logan Street, when he was approached by two men just before 1.00am.

One of the men produced a firearm and demanded the driver got out of the car.

He refused and attempted to reverse the vehicle, before the armed man smashed one of the windows with the weapon.

The driver then got out of the car, before the two men got in and fled.

Police say the 2012 Great Wall X200 four-wheel-drive is a very distinctive green and grey colour, and are urging anyone who’s seen it to be in contact immediately.

One of the men is described as Caucasian with a skinny build wearing a white hoodie, while the other is described as having a stocky build and wearing a red hoodie.
