Two Mermaid Waters residents threatened during robbery
Two women have been threatened at gunpoint during a break-in at Mermaid Waters yesterday morning.
It’s believed three men forced their way into the home on Hood Court armed with two hand guns and a knife.
Two women, aged 44 and 20, were threatened before the men searched the home.
The group demanded money, but when the occupants refused the trio left the address a short time later.
The 20-year-old woman was assaulted by one of the men but was not injured.
Investigations are continuing.
