Two more college shootings in the US

THE UNITED States is again questioning its gun laws, following two college shootings within 12 hours.

The first happened at Northern Arizona University, when an 18-year-old an allegedly shot dead a fellow student.

Three others suffered multiple gunshot wounds, before Police detained alleged shooter Steven Jones who is now being questioned.

Just hours later the Texas Southern University in Houston was placed in lockdown.

One person was killed and another wounded at a campus apartment complex.

A possible suspect was detained.

 

Just last week nine people were gunned down at Umpqua Community College in Oregon before the shooter took his own life.

President Barack Obama is meeting today with families of those victims, as he calls for an end to gun-related violence and continues to plead for tighter gun laws.
