Two motorists hospitalised after cars collide with trees on Gold Coast

TWO people have been taken to hospital after two separate crashes on the Gold Coast this morning.

The first accident happened in Varsity Lakes, when a car collided with a tree on Stanford Avenue just after 9.00am.

One person was treated at the scene for minor injuries before being taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.


Just an hour later, paramedics were called to Surfers Paradise following reports another car had collided with a tree at the corner of Cavill Avenue and Orchid Avenue.

A man was treated for a hand injury before being transported to hospital in a stable condition.
