Two Queensland families heartbroken as search continues for their girls
THE search continues for two missing teenagers in south east Queensland.
Police and SES volunteers are today scouring the Wivenhoe area, west of Brisbane, for 16-year-old Tiffany Taylor.
It’s thought the Logan girl was 20-weeks pregnant when she disappeared on July 12 and had turned to prostitution to support her family.
Rodney Wayne Williams, 60, has been charged with her murder. It’s believed the pair met via a dating app and hooked up at a Logan motel on the day Tiffany disappeared.
Last week, Police released images of the car they believe Williams was driving when he left the motel in the hope it would trigger someone’s memory.
There are reports, today’s search comes following a tip-off from the public.

Anyone who saw this car in the greater Brisbane or Logan area on July 12 is urged to come forward.

The search for Tiffany comes as Police admit, there’s no way yet of knowing if the last person who saw missing Gatton schoolgirl Jayde Kendall alive is telling the truth.
An 18-year-old man willingly handed in his car to investigators and claims he spent time with her on Friday August 14, before dropping her off.
She didn’t show up for her shift at McDonald’s later that day and has not been seen since.

A man handed his car over to Police as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Jayde Kendall.
