Two suicides linked to hacking of cheating website Ashley Madison

POLICE in Canada have linked the hacking of cheating website Ashley Madision to two suicides.

Last week, hackers calling themselves the Impact Team exposed personal information including names, email addresses and phone number of millions of the site’s users.

Since the hack, Toronto police have reportedly said that they are looking into two suicides associated with the release of information.

The site’s owner, Avid Life Media, is now offering a $500,000 Canadian (A$524,800) reward for information to help catch the hackers.

Ashley Madison is an adult dating website for those looking to have an affair.
