Two teen boys charged with horrifying acts of animal cruelty

Two teenage boys have been charged with several acts of sickening animal torture in Dural.

It’s alleged that between Saturday 13 June and Sunday 14 June 2015, the two 14-year-old boys entered an animal enclosure on a school property at Dural.

Two lambs were allegedly beaten and stabbed about the head and body and set alight.


One lamb died as a result of injuries and the other now cannot walk properly.

Five chickens were also allegedly stabbed and bludgeoned to death.

Ryde Detectives investigated the incident and interviewed the two boys.

Both were subsequently charged with two offences being torture, beat etc & seriously injure animal and torture, beat etc & cause death of animal.

Both were refused bail to appear at a Children’s Court on Friday 9 October 2015.
