Two teen girls injured after car flies off embankment in Logan

TWO girls have been injured after the car they were travelling in flew over an embankment in Logan on Friday morning.

The pair, believed to be in their late teens, were driving along Waterford Tamborine Road around 5.00am when they lost control.

Paramedics treated the pair at the scene before taking them both to hospital.

One was taken in a serious but stable condition to Princess Alexandra Hospital with abrasions to her head, arm and hip.

The second patient was taken to Logan Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
