Two women hospitalised following separate Gold Coast car crashes

Gold Coast paramedics were called out to two separate car incidents on the Gold Coast overnight, with two women hospitalised as a result.

Crews were called to Surfers Paradise just before 2.00 am this morning, following reports a car had crashed into a pole.

A woman in her 30s had suffered minor injuries in the incident along Peninsular Drive and Remembrance Drive.

She was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Earlier in the night, paramedics were called to a two-car crash in Burleigh Heads a little early.

It happened along Burleigh Connection Road and Taree Street around 6.30 pm.

A woman luckily escaped serious injury as a result of the crash but was still taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.

She’s understood to be in a stable condition.
