Two women hospitalised after separate Gold Coast crashes

Two women have been taken to hospital following two separate traffic crashes on the Gold Coast this morning.

Both accidents occurred in Palm Beach, the first on the Gold Coast Highway, near 19th Avenue around 11.00am.

A woman was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Robina hospital with “jaw pain”.

One northbound lane was blocked causing lengthy delays in the area, however traffic seems to be easing now.

Meanwhile, a short time later, paramedics were called to a second accident in the same suburb, this time at the intersection of Cypress Terrace and Eighth Avenue.

A woman believed to be aged in her 50’s was assessed by paramedics at the scene before she was also taken to Robina Hospital.
