Two women killed in separate Logan crashes

Two women have died in two separate crashes in Logan.

A 74-year-old woman passed away yesterday afternoon after her car crashed into a fence at the intersection of Estraminia Road and Pavon Street in Regents Park.

It happened just after 1.30pm on Friday, with police appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has any information to come forward.

Meanwhile, a 21-year-old woman has died after succumbing to injuries she sustained in a horror crash in Chambers Flat last month.

“Just before 1.30am on June 28, a Toyota Hilux travelling on Chambers Flat Road lost control and rolled near Kerry Road,” Qld police said.

A 24-year-old man, who was driving the vehicle, died at the scene.

While the 21-year-old front seat passenger was rushed to hospital in a critical condition, where she died last night.

Two women, aged 25 and 19, managed to escape the crash with just minor injuries.
