Two young girls stalked, approached by man while playing out front of unit block

Police are conducting enquiries after two girls were approached while playing out the front of a unit block in Blacktown.

Between 4pm and 4:30pm Wednesday 7 October 2015, two 12-year-old girls were playing out the front of a unit block on Eggleton Street.

A light gold-coloured sedan drove past, with the girls noticing the driver looking in their direction.

About 15 minutes later, the same car drove down the street slowly, allegedly looking at one of the girls before speeding off down the street.

The girl went inside to inform her mother of what had occurred.

At 5pm she had went back to the front of the property to play with the other girl.

The sedan returned, driving slowly past the driveway. The driver attempted to initiate a conversation with the girls before driving off.

Police from Blacktown Local Area Command were notified and have now commenced an investigation.

Detectives would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist them with enquiries.

He is described as being in his 20s, brown short hair, fair skin and was seen wearing a white shirt.

He was driving a light gold-coloured sedan.
