The British Parliament has this morning voted to launch airstrikes against Islamic State in Syria.
UK lawmakers voted 397-223 in favour of bombing ISIS targets.
The vote followed a heated Commons debate which lasted more than 10 hours, in which the Prime Minister stressed the threat posed by the extremists, whom he branded “woman-raping, Muslim-murdering, medieval monsters”.
