THERE were dramatic scenes on the Gold Coast this morning after an ultralight aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing on the beach.
It’s understood the pilot experienced engine troubles around 9.30am and was forced to land on a stretch of sand along Old Burleigh Road in Surfers Paradise.
Shocked beachgoers called triple zero as they watched the aircraft come down on the beach between the Northcliffe and Broadbeach Surf Life Saving Clubs.
