A man has been charged after he was caught allegedly trying to procure, what he thought was a 14-year-old boy, for sexual activity.
The 60-year-old was arrested at Parramatta yesterday following a covert online investigation into the sexual abuse and exploitation of children facilitated through the internet.
Police allege the man believed he was speaking to a 14-year-old boy and made numerous sexually explicit comments to the child and requested to meet the boy for the purpose of sexual activity.
