Unlicensed driver loses control and collides with parked cars

A man who lost control of a vehicle and crashed it into two parked cars at Campsie, in Sydney’s south west overnight was unlicensed and possibly drug affected, police say.

The 39-year-old lost control of his car along Sixth Avenue just after midnight and slammed into two parked cars.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

Police were called and spoke with the 39-year-old who was found to be unlicensed.

Officers then searched the man’s car and allegedly found a stash of cannabis.

The 39-year-old man was taken into custody and conveyed to Canterbury Hospital for mandatory drug and alcohol testing.

Investigations are ongoing.
