UPDATE @ September 5 2017 3pm | Relief for a Gold Coast family this afternoon, with a woman turning up safe and well after being reported missing.
There were concerns for the 61-year-old, who was last seen at a residence in Alberton on September 3.
Police have thanked the media and the public for their help.

EARLIER @ September 5 2017 9.25am | Police are desperately searching for a 61-year-old woman reported missing from the northern Gold Coast.
She was last seen at 5pm on Sunday September 3 at a residence on Cane Farm Road in Alberton.
Her family and police hold serious concerns for her safety as she suffers from a medical condition which requires medication.
