UPDATE | Bus driver has broken bones after crash with truck north of Tamborine

UPDATE 10:35AM | A bus driver is being rushed to Brisbane’s PA Hospital, after he was involved in a collision with a truck north of Tamborine.

The man, in his 60’s, has a broken pelvis and leg.  Another man, of the same age, escaped with more minor injuries but is being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital as a precaution.

A woman, also with minor injuries, refused to be taken to Hospital.

EARLIER 10:09AM | Three people have been injured in a crash involving a truck and a bus at Yarrabilba, just north of Tamborine.

The accident happened on the corner of Waterford Tamborine Road and Dollarbird Drive at around 9:15AM on Thursday morning.

Waterford Tamborine Road will be closed for several hours.  Motorists are being diverted along Camp Cable Road.

A man in his 60’s has a broken pelvis and leg.

Another man, also in his 60’s and a woman in her 20’s escaped with minor injuries

Paramedics are still there and haven’t taken anyone to hospital yet.
