UPDATE: An elderly man, reported missing from Sydney’s west on Sunday, has been found safe and well.
The 82-year-old was spotted by an off-duty emergency services worker on the Pacific Highway at Normanhurst about 1.40pm today.
The man was taken to Hornsby Police Station before being reunited with his family.

EARLIER: The family of an elderly man, missing in Sydney’s west, are concerned for his wellbeing.
Toi Dinh, 82, left his home on Vineyard Avenue in Smithfield around 11am on Sunday, to go for a walk.
He was due home about 4pm but failed to return which prompted Mr Dinh’s family to contact police.
A search of the Smithfield area failed to find Mr Dinh (pictured) and police hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age and his medical conditions.
He is known to frequent the Smithfield area, and also Fairfield Railway Station.
He is described as 165-170cm tall, 65-70kg, slim build and short dark hair. He was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit with a cream cap.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
