UPDATE: Missing Gold Coast boy found in Tasmania

UPDATE @ September 24 2017 5:30 AM | A toddler, who was taken from the Gold Coast University Hospital on Thursday afternoon, has been found.

Police have confirmed, the one-year-old boy was located safe and well in Tasmania.

His two-year-old brother was also found.


There were concerns for the younger boy, as he needs medical treatment.

Police have not confirmed if the man and woman who took the boys will be charged.

EARLIER @ September 23 2017 10 AM | POLICE are continuing to appeal for help from the public to find a one-year-old boy who was taken from the Gold Coast University Hospital.

A 30-year-old man, who has prominent face tattoos, and a 35-year-old woman removed the baby from the hospital on Thursday.

The baby’s two-year-old brother is also with the couple, who is known to the children.

Police say they hold serious concerns for the children’s wellbeing and say the baby requires medical attention.
