UPDATE: Missing Gold Coast man found safe and well

UPDATE @ 2.30pm, May 15, 2020 | A 61-year-old man reported missing on the Gold Coast earlier this week has been located safe and well.

Police have thanked the public for their assistance.

EARLIER @ 3.15pm, May 13, 2020 | Police have launched an urgent appeal for help to track down a man missing on the Gold Coast.

The man was last seen at Explorers Way at Worongary around 11pm last night.

But he has not been heard from since.

Police say his disappearance is extremely out of character and they hold serious concerns for his safety.

The man is described as Caucasian, with a solid build and a shaved head.

He was last seen wearing grey trousers and a red cotton t-shirt.

He is known to frequent The Spit, Broadwater and Currumbin Valley areas.

Anyone who spots him or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Police.
