ROSIES – the angels who care for locals living on the streets – urgently need our help.
The organization is running dangerously dry with their non-perishable food stocks just when things are very tight for many locals. (See below for non-perishable donation ideas)
Co-Ordinator Wendy Coe said they’ve been overrun with desperate Gold Coast families and individuals doing it tough.

“We’re in a little bit of a bind here at Rosies,” Wendy said. “We’re just being overrun at the moment with families and individuals who need our help.”
“We sell our food boxes and we try and put in as much food as possible. We did 16 boxes in four hours today.”
The not-for-profit organization runs on the work of volunteers, providing unconditional friendship and acceptance of homeless locals.
The group is urgently calling for donations of non perishable food and they need it delivered to their base in Southport.
Their doors re-open at 7.30am on Monday morning across from The Courthouse – on the corner of Davenport Street – and they need our support.
Have a look in your cupboards this weekend and see how you can help those Gold Coasters who are struggling.
