Kmart has recalled a popular Christmas decoration, over fears it could pose a biosecurity risk.
The Half Wicker Wreath, which features green foliage and berries, has been pulled from shelves in both Australia and New Zealand.
The retail giant is urging anyone who has purchased the wreath to stop using it immediately, as it may destroy the country’s native plants.

“The treatment given to this product has been determined to have been ineffective,” the recall notice reads.
“It may contain unwanted organisms that could affect plants native to the country.
“The product could potentially pose a risk to native flora.”
The affected wreaths had been available for sale at Kmart stores between 26 September to 7 December this year.
“Customers should cease using their product immediately and return the product to any Kmart store for a full refund,” Kmart said.
