Around 50 thrillseekers at a US theme park have had to be rescued from a malfunctioning ride.
SeaWorld’s iconic Sky Tower stopped working on Monday (US time) trapping 50 passenger on the 122 metre tall ride.
Some passengers called emergency services, despite being in no danger, and eventually Orange County Fire Rescue managed to return all the guests safely to land.

The Sky Tower attraction opened in 1973 and features a double-decker, rotating pod that guests board at ground level and take a leisurely ride to the top and back down.
