Ute driver remains ‘critical but stable’ after collision with truck

A MAN remains in hospital with critical injuries following a serious two-car crash in southern NSW.

Police said the 36-year-old man’s Mitsubishi Triton ute collided with a Mitsubishi truck on Kosciuszko Road at Jindabyne, near the Snowy Mountains, on Tuesday afternoon.

The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Canberra Hospital where he remains today in a critical but stable condition.

The driver of the truck escaped the collision with only minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.

Police established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
