UPDATE at 3:55 PM | DETECTIVES investigating the attack on Peter Dutton’s electoral office in Strathpine overnight have released CCTV footage of the incident with the hope of catching those responsible.
Police said a group of thugs took to the politician’s Gympie Road office with bricks and hammers about 1.44am on Friday, smashing four reinforced glass windows and two glass doors.
Detectives from Pine Rivers Criminal Investigation Branch released CCTV footage of the attack this afternoon, as they appeal for public assistance to identify the vandals responsible.

Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time of the incident is urged to come forward and call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

FIRST at 6:50 AM | Vandals have caused more than $10,000 worth of damage to Peter Dutton’s electoral office in Strathpine early this morning.
Police were called to the Gympie Road office around 2.20am, to find brick pavers had been thrown at the windows, causing extensive damage.
Four reinforced glass windows and two glass doors were smashed in the attack, with some of the brick pavers also leaving puncture holes on the walls inside.
Officers believe the incident occurred around 1.45am.
It comes as Dutton prepares to face a second Liberal Party leadership challenge today.
