Defending champion Harold Varner III looks set to head to the Gold Coast again to try and keep his PGA Championship crown.
There are reports the American was so excited by the prospect of taking on Masters champion Sergio Garcia and Adam Scott that he will do everything he can to return to the Coast in November.
Varner took the trophy last year in what was his first professional victory outside of the US.

Scott is yet to be confirmed as a certainty for the event but Australian PGA said he had been in talks with him.
Kirkman also said they were working to get former World no.1 and fellow Queenslander Jason Day to the event.
