A MAN has died following a three-car crash in Hallam, Victoria this morning.
It is believed a cement truck rammed up the back of two cars on the on-ramp of the South Gippsland Freeway, off Princes Highway at around 7.30am.
The impact of the crash virtually squashed the Ford Station wagon caught between the truck and first vehicle, a Toyota Camry.

The male driver, and only occupant of the Ford was rushed to hospital where he sadly died a short time later from life-threatening injuries.
The female driver of the Camry was taken to hospital with far less serious injuries.
The male driver and only occupant of the cement truck is currently assisting Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives with their enquiries.
