Victoria endures another ‘deadliest day’ of coroanvirus
Victoria has once again recorded its deadliest day of coronavirus, with 25 deaths reported overnight.
Age and gender details are yet to be released, with health authorities to provide an update later on.
It’s the largest daily death toll figure reported within the state so far, and the whole country.
The state’s death toll now sits at 334, and the national toll is at 421.
Meantime, the daily infection rate is beginning to show signs of stabilising with another 282 positive cases confirmed overnight.
It follows 279 new cases yesterday and 303 the day before.
The Victorian Premier and health authorities are expected to provide an update later this morning.
