Victoria records 216 coronavirus cases, 12 more deaths
The number of daily coronavirus cases in Victoria has dropped again today, with just 216 recorded overnight.
It follows similar figures over the last couple of days, with authorities now quietly optimistic they’ve been able to slow the spread.
It brings the total amount of cases within the state to 17,454, with 7,274 considered active.
Sadly, another 12 deaths have been reported overnight as well.
The age and gender details are yet to be released.
It brings the state’s death toll to 363, and the national toll to 438.
