Victoria records 43 coronavirus cases, another 9 deaths
Victoria has recorded another 43 cases overnight, one of the lowest daily figures in a week.
It’s now been over a week of the daily infection rate staying well below 100, as the state prepares for a slow road out of lockdown restrictions.
There’s been another nine deaths reported over the last 24 hours as well.
It brings the state’s death toll to 710, while the national toll is at 797.
The Victorian Premier and health officials will provide further details later this morning.
