Victoria records another 113 coronavirus cases, 12 deaths
Another night of low case numbers in Victoria, with just 113 new infections recorded overnight.
The state has almost recorded a week of daily infections below 150, in a good sign the harsh lock down measures are working.
Sadly, there has been another 12 deaths reported overnight as well, down on yesterday’s high figure of 23.
The ages and genders of those people are yet to be released.
It brings the state’s death toll to 497, and the national toll to 584.
The Victorian Premier and health authorities will provide a further update today.
