Victoria records another 115 coronavirus cases, 15 deaths
Daily coronavirus numbers in Victoria have increased for the second day in a row, with 113 new cases reported overnight.
It follows 90 reported yesterday and just 70 the day before, sparking fears the outbreak has gotten out of control once again.
While there has also been another 15 deaths reported over the last 24, up on just six yesterday.
The ages and genders of the people are still unknown, with authorities to provide further information today.
Victoria’s death toll has risen to 591, while the national toll now sits at 678.
While there were reports the state government was planning on extending the city’s lock down period, including curfews, for another two weeks.
The Herald Sun had leaked the draft plan for the state’s recovery, but the Victorian Government has since come out and said it’s an outdated plan.
More information is expected when the Premier addresses the media later this morning.
