Another devastating day of death in Victoria overnight, with 24 people passing away over the last 24 hours.
It’s the second deadliest day for the state, just a week on from recording 25 deaths in one day.
Victoria’s coronavirus death toll has now risen to 462, and the national toll now sits at 549.

While the daily infection rate continues to stay low, with another 149 cases reported overnight.
It’s now been three days of cases staying below 150.
Health authorities and the Premier are expected to provide further updates later this morning.
