Victoria’s daily coronavirus numbers continue to climb, however, today’s figures aren’t all bad news.
There were another 26 locally acquired infections over the last 24 hour period, up from 22 cases reported yesterday.
However, Victorian Health reports that only two of those cases were in the community while infectious, with the other 24 in quarantine.

All cases are linked to the current outbreaks as well.
The whole state will remain in lockdown until at least Tuesday night, with authorities determined to get back down to zero cases before relaxing again.
Victorian officials will provide further information later today.
Reported yesterday: 26 new local cases and 2 new cases acquired overseas (currently in HQ).
