Victoria’s coronavirus death toll reaches 351, after another 17 deaths
Another grim day for Victoria, with another 17 coronavirus deaths recorded overnight.
Age and gender details are yet to be released, but it brings the state’s death toll to 351, and the country’s death toll to 438.
It comes after a record day of fatalities for the state yesterday, with 25 deaths reported.
Also overnight, there have been another 222 people testing positive to coronavirus, the lowest daily infection number for over a month.
It means there have been 17,249 cases in total within the state, out of 23,781 within the country.
Victorian health authorities will provide further details later this morning.
