Always wanted to ride a hoverboard like Marty McFly in Back to the Future II?
Well it could be on the cards soon, with Lexus finally unveiling their real, live, working hoverboard!

The hoverboard works by using “liquid nitrogen-cooled superconductors and permanent magnets” to stay afloat. However, it must run above a magnetic track so won’t work on regular surfaces.
Professional skateboarder Ross McGouran was the first person to test out the device, and it proved to be a more difficult ride than expected.
Unfortunately us regular punters won’t be able to jump on board one anytime soon as more work is required to get the board ready for commercial use.
In the meantime, check out the awesome video of the hoverboard in action above.
