VIDEO: Claims Melania Trump plagiarised Michelle Obama’s speech
There are accusations parts of Melania Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention were taken from a speech Michelle Obama delivered in 2008.
The similarities were first pointed out by journalist Jarrett Hill on Twitter.

Hill claims the same phrasing was used in both speeches, including “work hard for what you want in life,” “your word is your bond” and “the only limit” to achieving dreams is “your willingness to work for them.”

Donald Trump’s campaign has denied the accusations, with campaign chairman Paul Manafort telling CNN: “These are common words and values that Melania cares about. Her family, things like that. She was speaking in front of 35 million people last night, Melania knew that. To think that she would be cribbing Michelle Obama’s words is crazy.”
