A community piano is set to bring music to the ears of visitors in Southport.
Yesterday the decorated instrument was unveiled on Nerang Street, just behind the light rail station, much to the delight of passers-by and local business owners.
The colouful piano will remain there indefinitely and anyone walking by is welcomed to sit down and play a tune.

Cr Dawn Crichlow told myGC the reason council chose to add a piano to the area was to help create a cultural hub.
“We are changing the face of Southport. With the piano here you’ll see people coming down to play and sing,” she said.
